I am a broadcast and non-broadcast director, camera operator and photographer, passionate about creating content that is creative, imaginative and memorable. LIGHTING CAMERA OPERATOR
I film broadcast and non-broadcast content for clients, composing shots with imagination, creativity and flair. I have mastered a range of lighting techniques to create the right mood and, as I also edit, I shoot with the flow of the edit in mind. I can self shoot and also supply production crew if required.
DIRECTOR
I develop creative ideas and treatments to brief, source talent, locations and plan the style of the video.. My approach is methodical, structured and organised. My style of directing is rooted in a love for documentary storytelling and a passion for photographing people. I like to focus on the non-verbal narrative, allowing scripts and scenes to be expressed with space, form and fluidity, which helps to give the subject and script substance and life.
PHOTOGRAPHER
Complementing film production with photography, where I originally learnt to master lighting and directing. I am skilled at crafting and composing my shots to create images that not only stand out but are pleasing to the eye. My images are colourful and have depth, aiming to draw out unique elements that best reflect personality, product, moments and emotion. My photography gallery can be viewed below.
